Often dismissed as mundane and time-consuming, staircases are typically overlooked in daily life. However, they occasionally transform into social spaces where people gather, sit, and converse, offering a purpose beyond just climbing. This project was driven by the emotion of confusion—a deliberate attempt to disrupt the monotony and redefine how we perceive stairs. By embracing confusion as a tool, the aim was to challenge the conventional narrative and transform staircases from a mundane, utilitarian structure into an engaging and interactive experience. This reimagining invites people to see the act of climbing not as a chore but as an opportunity for interaction and exploration.
